The term “jade” refers to two distinct silicate minerals: nephrite, a calcium-magnesium silicate typically found in green, white, yellow, or black hues; and jadeite, a sodium-aluminum silicate that ranges from nearly colorless to vibrant shades of green, lavender, yellow, orange, brown, black, and—on rare occasions—blue. Jade is found in regions across the globe, including Myanmar, China, Russia, New Zealand, and the United States.

• Place near or on selenite

• Breathe your intentions or emotional release into the stone by holding it in your palm and exhaling onto it

• Wrap in cloth and bury for one week to reconnect it with Earth energy
