Morganite was discovered in Madagascar in 1910 by gemologist George Frederick Kunz. The name "Morganite" honors financier and gem enthusiast J.P. Morgan, who was a significant contributor to the arts and sciences. Morganite is a type of beryl mineral that forms in granitic pegmatites, giving it a unique pink to peach color. It is found primarily in Brazil, Madagascar, and the United States.

To cleanse, use lukewarm running water and mild soap with a soft cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or ultrasonic cleaners. Place next to or on selenite to spiritually cleanse.
