Orthoceras and Selenite Votive/Candle Holder
Orthoceras & Selenite Votive/Candle Holder | Ancient Wisdom, Clarity & Transformation:
Bring ancient history and luminous crystal beauty together with an Orthoceras & Selenite Votive/Candle Holder from Enlightened KC. Combining fossil material with glowing Selenite, this striking décor piece creates a beautiful contrast between the deep, ancient appearance of
Orthoceras and the white to translucent, light-catching qualities of Selenite.
Orthoceras is a traditional trade name commonly used for fossils of extinct, straight-shelled marine cephalopods and related orthoconic cephalopods. These ancient marine animals lived hundreds of millions of years ago, making fossil-bearing material a fascinating reminder of
Earth's enormous geological history. Exact fossil species and age can vary by specimen and source.
The Selenite used in carved décor is often more specifically Satin Spar, a fibrous variety of
Gypsum known for its silky, luminous appearance. In modern metaphysical traditions, Selenite is associated with clarity, cleansing symbolism, peaceful reflection, and spiritual awareness, while
Orthoceras fossils are often given modern symbolism surrounding ancient wisdom, evolution, resilience, grounding, and personal transformation.
